My wife, Melinda, began her new blog with a post today:

“It is fall and kids have been back to school here in Houston for over a month and football season is in full swing. Unlike when I was a kid when Memorial Day marked the beginning of summer and Labor Day marked its end, school children in Houston start back mid to late August depending on the school or school district.”
